In the course of DUA Creations | DPAC ARTS FESTIVAL Malaysia

The work HAHAHA is dedicated to the universal language of laughter, from which an intense dialogue between the six dancers of the DPAC Dance Company and the audience will develop. In HAHAHA, moments of inciting, of positive contagion are created and a space between acquirement and loss of composure is shaped. Through the single, pure, subtle syllable HA, a symphony of laughter is composed and an entire lexicon of meanings and facets is written. In the act of laughter, an acoustic connection between body and individuality manifests, which this evening pays attention to in the form of performative etudes: as joy, as a scream, as a game.
